Is the proposed Australian National Broadband Network a superhighway to economic growth or an expensive toy to speed up the download of videos?

Professor Robin Braun is a world expert in telecommunications engineering and well placed to give us a clear understanding of what the proposed Australian NBN will deliver. His expertise includes teletraffic engineering, network planning and management, network protocols, and telecommunications economics, management and regulation.

He is past Director of the UTS Institute for Information and Communication Technology, an Executive Member of the UTS Centre for Real Time Information Networks and consultant to the CSIRO. Robin is a member of the TSA Academic Committee.
